Qube XL:

The Qube XL is a high-end streaming speaker with built-in Bluetooth/(W)LAN receiver and an amplifier with DSP (Digital Signal Processor). For the DSP chip, a proprietary algorithm was developed, which makes a dynamic sound adjustment in the speaker. Among other things, this technology, the WHD Adaptive Sound Plus, ensures that the listener experiences high-quality sound even at low volumes. Depending on the site, 3 presets can be selected: None, Wall or Corner.
In addition, an external audio source can be connected to the Qube XL via Aux-in (jack). At the "Aux-Out left" another Qube XL can be connected via a jack cable.
Like all of our WLAN receivers, it already has an Internet radio on board. This has the great advantage that one can also listen to Internet radio without a smartphone / tablet.
If the Qube XL does not play an internal internet radio station, then it receives the music e.g. from a smartphone or tablet via the WHD multiplayer app or any music apps via AirPlay*, DLNA or UPnP and plays them back via the connected speakers.
Additionally it can be controlled by control buttons on the device (Play/Pause, Skip, Vol +/-).
Like all WHD WLAN receivers and speakers, the Qube XL is also compatible with spotify connect.
An optionally available KNX gateway can control all (W) LAN devices from WHD - including the WR 55, WR 205, the WR 250 HS and the AirBridge. You can e.g. select via KNX an Internet radio station, which is played directly from the WLAN module. No smartphone or tablet is required for this. Furthermore, the volume can be controlled via KNX and the module switched off.
The high-quality aluminum housing is painted in black or white, the real wooden housing is available in oak, walnut or stone pine. Both versions are equipped with a fabric cover. Special colours on request.
The ball joint mount WH QB 300 is available as an accessory.
