WR 250 DSP HS:

The WR 250 DSP HS is a Bluetooth/(W)LAN receiver with 2x50W stereo amplifier and DSP (Digital Signal Processor) for mounting in the distribution cabinet on the DIN rail.
For the DSP chip, a proprietary algorithm was developed, which makes a dynamic sound adjustment in the speaker. Among other things, this technology, the WHD Adaptive Sound Plus, ensures that the listener experiences high-quality sound even at low volumes. 3 presets can be selected: Neutral, Loudness, Extra Bass.
An external audio source can be connected to the line-in.
The WR 250 DSP HS can be operated via the Ethernet socket or via WLAN and also via Bluetooth.
Like all of our WLAN receivers, it already has an Internet radio on board. This has the great advantage that the WR 250 DSP HS can also be used to listen to Internet radio without a smartphone / tablet.
If the WR 250 DSP HS does not play an internal internet radio station, then it receives the music e.g. from a smartphone or tablet via the WHD multiplayer app or any music apps via AirPlay*, DLNA or UPnP and plays them back via the connected speakers.
Like all WHD WLAN receivers and speakers, the WR 250 DSP HS is also compatible with spotify connect.
An optionally available KNX gateway can control all (W)LAN devices from WHD - including the WR 55, WR 205, the Qube (XL) and the AirBridge. One can e.g. via KNX select an Internet radio station, which is played directly from the WLAN module. No smartphone or tablet is required for this. Furthermore, the volume can be controlled via KNX and the module switched off.
