WHD speakers: speech and music reproduction in a variety of ways
Getting perfect sound from a speaker or sound system does not necessarily mean using a lot of power. What is much more important is the harmonic interplay between the frequency response, distortion factor and directional characteristic. In addition, the intended use of the speaker must be considered during the design phase: for example, different performance and design details apply for horn speakers used as alarms than for wall-mounted speakers that provide background music in shops or restaurants or for built-in floor speakers for use outdoors.
Standard speakers and individual speaker systems
To ensure that you always get the perfect speaker for your area of use, we offer powerful standard speakers for straightforward standard applications. While at the same time we also develop and produce individual speaker systems for specific requirements on request – even in small quantities. For example, we are able to modify housing materials and offer special paints and shock-proof and marine-compatible speakers are also no problem.
With one of the largest measurement rooms for speakers in Germany, we ensure that every speaker is tested appropriate to its area of use and is provided with a detailed test report.
All WHD speakers are protected from humidity at the factory. Additional humidity protection (IP 54, IP55 or IP 65) provides maximum safety and reliable operation in the bathroom or outdoors.
