RDS Radio Basic:

The RDS Radio Basic is controllable via the 4 buttons on the front plate or via an additional available IR remote control. The rear Line In terminal can be connected to e.g. the docking station MP 55 BTL or the Bluetooth/WLAN receiver BTR/WR 55. Thus in addition to the nine radio stations an additional external sources can be chosen.
The flush-mounted RDS Radio Basic with its included wire antenna had a good reception. For better reception you may connect an external antenna to the antenna terminal (75 ohms coax) at the rear.
The flush-mounted RDS Radio is also equipped with an alarm and a sleep function. The display can be dimmed in brightness. This is especially useful in bedrooms. The volume limit just like the menu lock is very important for hotel rooms.
The RDS Radio is therefore suitable for residential as well as for hotel application. The integrated amplifier provides the ability to connect two speakers to play background music. For full-range music in high quality and volume an external amplifiers such as the AMP 250 DSP can be connected.
